Harding Township School Integrated Preschool Program

Dear Parents,

The Harding Township School District accepts applications from families in our community who are interested in having their three- or four-year-old child attend our Integrated Preschool Program.  The preschool is comprised of both children with special needs and typically developing preschoolers.  In order to be eligible, children must reach age three prior to October 1, 2024 and must be toilet-trained.

Our program will begin the first day of school Fall 2024 and follows the school district calendar.  The “Husky Pups” class meets five days a week for two hours and forty-five minutes in the a.m. (8:30-11:15) or the p.m. (12:15-3:00).  The 2024-25 tuition rate for the a.m. or p.m. session is $4,750 to be paid in ten monthly installments with the option to increase on an annual basis. Parents are responsible for transportation to and from the Harding Elementary School.

We maintain a low student-teacher ratio and use a multi-sensory, interdisciplinary curriculum to promote school readiness skills.  Our typical schedule includes Morning Calendar, small group activities centered on language acquisition, fine and gross motor skills and play time. In addition, students participate in specials such as Art, Music and P.E., “Husky Pups” also enjoy exciting experiences throughout the year, such as a  visit from the New Vernon Volunteer Fire Department, a field trip to Crewe Hill Horse Stables, hatching chicks in the classroom, and Pajama Day.

You may find the registration form on the next tab.  Return the Registration form to the Student Services Office across from the Main Office in the Middle School building.  We will begin accepting applications in person on a first-come, first-serve basis at the Middle School doors starting at 7:30am on Wednesday, April 10, 2024.

(Note:  There will be an IN-PERSON Parent Open House on Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 9:30am-10am.  If interested, please call the Student Services office at 973-267-6398 x112 to make a reservation.)
