TRAVEL REMINDER: Please let me know of any travel plans you may have. A 10-day quarantine is required for anyone returning to NJ traveling outside of the immediate area. Please reach out to me reagarding your travel dates and I will confirm the quarantine dates.
Reporting an Absence or Virtual Day: Please report when your child(ren) will not be in school including if they will be attending virtually. You may do this via the absence line (973-26-6398 option 1) or the genesis parent portal. Please include the reason you child(ren) will not be in-person.
If your child has one of the COVID-like symptoms listed below or is feeling ill, please keep them home (siblings as well) and contact me for further guidance.
Symptoms: Fever, chills, rigors (shivers), muscle aches, headache, sore throat, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, congestion, runny nose, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, loss of taste, or loss of smell.
If anyone in your house is being tested for COVID-19, been exposed to COVID-19, or tested positive for COVID-19 please keep all members of the house home and contact me for futher guidance.

If your child has traveled outside of NJ, please contact me for information regarding quarantine. At this time, travel outside of NJ requires a 10 day quarantine prior to returning to in-person learning.
The daily COVID screening form needs to completed by 7:45AM each morning including for students staying home for the day. The safety and health of our students is my first priority !
Attendance: Please report all absences (virtual or in-person) to me using Genesis or the absences line 973-267-6398 option 1. Please leave the following information: Students name, reason for absence or lateness, teacher, and number you can be reached at.
General Guidelines for All Students:
Immmunizations: All students (in person and virtual) must comply with the NJ immunization standards per the NJDOH. Below is a link regarding required immunizations for K-8 students.
ALLERGIES: All students with a documented allergy requiring an epipen must provide 2 epineprine autoinjectors and required paperwork to be kept in the nurses's office for the school year. Returning students, were provided the appropriate paperwork at the end of last school year. For new student or those with a new allergy, please reach out to me and I provide and explain the paperwork needed.
Forms for physicals, sports physicals, allergies, and asthma can all be found on my website. Please use the tabs to the left to find the forms your child will need for the school year.
