Arrival
Students arriving on the bus will have their temperature taken upon disembarking by an HTS faculty member. If a bus student is found to have a temperature, he/she will be taken to the isolation room, where the temperature will be retaken after a few minutes. If the temperature persists, the student’s parents will be notified to come and retrieve the student.
Students arriving in the car line (elementary or middle school) will remain in the car to have temperatures taken by an HTS faculty member. Parents are asked to remain in the car. If any child in the car registers a temperature, the family will be asked to park and wait a few minutes for a temperature retake. If the temperature persists, the child and any siblings will be sent home.
To accommodate the number of cars in the car line, we will open the car line at 8am. We ask everyone to be patient as we take steps to ensure the safety of all.
Students in grades K-4 will wait on the blacktop. Each class will have dots, 6 feet distanced, for the students to stand on.
Grade 5 students will wait in the amphitheatre, also on dots 6 feet distanced.
Grades 6, 7, and 8 will enter the middle school through the band room entrance and will wait in designated areas with faculty supervision.

Dismissal
To help us enforce social distancing guidelines, we are asking parents to remain in their cars until the students are visible at which point they can escort their children quickly to the car, without socializing. We will send further information about dismissal and what doors each grade will be dismissed from.
